Morro Bay Sand Spit Trail out of Montano de Oro

This will be another trail great for both beginner and practiced hikers. This hike is flat, but offers some challenge due to walking along the sandy beach. Don’t let the the distance deter you from joining us, as this is an out and back hike allowing you to easily choose the distance you want to walk. When we reach the end of the strand, we will be across the inlet from Morro Rock, a good place to enjoy your snack before heading back. Sun block and plenty of water is recommended as this is a fully exposed walk along the beach.
